Thorsten Kiel
Head of Logistics, Europe, TH Real Estate, Germany
Thorsten is responsible for the investment and asset management activities of our European logistics franchise. He leads the team managing four European logistics mandates on behalf of our international clients.
Since joining the business in 2007, he has been involved in the conception of funds for our institutional clients. From 2012, he has been responsible for growing the business’ logistics platform. The team has acquired 40 assets in the past five years, for the German logistics fund II, Investoren-Club-FondsGerman Logistics and the European Logistics Fund. The funds are supervised by five investment professionals in Frankfurt plus local teams in all major jurisdictions.
Prior to joining the business, Thorsten worked for Ernst & Young Real Estate, on several portfolio transactions, corporate M&As and property company IPOs.
He studied abroad at the University of San Diego (US) and Nottingham University (UK). He holds a German degree equivalent to a MSc in Business Administration (Diplom-Kaufmann) from a European Business School (Oestrich-Winkel, Germany). He is also a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
